Yoga is a path to self-realization, a path to experience peace. While most of us will continue to seek peace and happiness for the duration of our life, it is accessible to us in this moment. As Swamiji Prabodh Chaitanya says, "enlightenment is right now!" It takes a cognitive shift to move from the lower self (the ego) to the True Self. Yoga is one path that can help you make that shift.

 

 

my approach

In my yoga classes, students are invited to go inward to reconnect to their True Self through traditional Hatha asanas (physical poses connected to the breath), pranayama (breath work), meditation, and relaxation. Class often begins with chanting and ends with a serenade. 


Body and mind are not two separate entities. What happens in the body will have an effect on the mind and vice versa.
