The Support Young People Project

The Support Young People Project is my research lab at CSUMB. Together, we conduct mixed-methods, intersectional, and interdisciplinary research on interpersonal relationships and policies/practices that support youth and young adults. We work with researchers, community-based organizations, and youth to identify strategies that can reduce health and educational disparities.

Students from my lab have successfully entered doctoral and master’s programs in the social sciences or have attained jobs in the fields of education, mental health, and healthcare. I am not accepting students for Fall 2023, but I will accept students in Spring 2024. Applications are due in November 2023. If you’re interested in joining the lab, please email me at ssnapp@csumb.edu.
